I am writing to tell you how delighted we are with the results of your work.

I had particular ideas as to the intended layout - but relied on your planning and guidance as how this might be best achieved. I much enjoyed my involvement in the project - and was impressed by your ability to respond effectively and in good humour to the few 'surprises' that we encountered.

In particular - procuring parts for the drains, extra kerbs when they were not available locally, and seeking out weathered stone for the rockery.

I commend your punctuality - both on starting the job when you promised and on you and your team turning up promptly each morning. Finally, I must mention the other members of your team - the two Joe's. It is refreshing to find such polite, thoughtful, and hard working young men who are clearly a credit to your business. As you know, my neighbours remarked on this. It is so important to keep the neighbours on-side during the inevitable disruption.
